With approximately 350 employees working at its Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Ottawa facilities, Rheinmetall Canada has demonstrated its expertise in the development, integration and production of platform-independent systems for over 30 years.

As a proven player in the Canadian defence industry, Rheinmetall Canada offers innovative solutions for vehicle integration and air defence, as well as electronic systems, weapons and protection systems for naval and land applications. Whether for Canada or for selected international markets, they adapt their systems to the ever-changing operational needs of military forces. Their capabilities include in-service and long-term support for their wide range of solutions.

They are the prime contractors for several key Canadian Forces programs, including the Leopard family of products, the 40 mm Close Prohibition Weapon System (CASW), and the Navy’s Automatic Countermeasure System (MASS). Rheinmetall Canada is very proud to be part of the winning Textron Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle (TAPV) team and recently won the contracts for the Soldier Integrated System Project and the Medium Range Radar Project.

Their innovative products, strong presence in Canadian industry and flexibility to enter into agreements with external partners when necessary are the foundation from which they grow.
