Today, the shift towards innovation is becoming almost indispensable for a company that wants to grow. In its mission to support industrial companies, the CETHR wishes to be able to offer a personalised and tailor-made service to each of its companies. The choice to intervene in innovation quickly became obvious.
Since the arrival of our new innovation recruit, Ms. Laetitia Osswald, we have been working hard to put in place an innovation strategy and action plan.
On Thursday, October 25, our first innovation table was held, hosted by Laetitia. In total, 13 companies and organizations were present to give their opinions and share their innovation needs and issues. We would like to thank the executives of Soleno, Groupe Baillargeon, Groupe LML Ltée, Évolupack, Frontenac Technologies, Texonic, Mawashi Science & Technologies, Nutrifrance, Thermovision, as well as the members of the Centre d’Aide aux Entreprises Haute Montérégie, the Centre Technologique et Industriel du Haut-Richelieu, NRC and Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu who were present and whose contributions to the discussions were greatly appreciated.
After the presentation of the strategic plan and the methodology we are implementing in innovation, the next step will be to develop all the tools that will help us in the pursuit of our mission.
Strategic support, diagnosis of the company’s maturity, improvement of the capacity for innovation, workshops and training are just some of the elements we would like to propose and which will enable us to offer tailor-made support to our companies.
The creation of an innovation group will enable all manufacturers and partners to discuss the needs, challenges and difficulties encountered and help us improve our service offer so that we can provide real added value.
Collaborative work with all the actors in our region (CEGEP, CTIHR, CMR, Centre d’aide aux entreprises,…) will gradually enable us to develop a culture of innovation throughout the HR region.
